Are your watches made of Philippine Narra?

Although our name is Narra, we do not use Philippine Narra wood to make our watches, nor do we condone the use of Philippine Narra wood. Narra trees in the Philippines have gone from being abundant in the past, to now being classified as endangered. As the national tree of the Philippines and a national symbol, we strongly support efforts for its conservation.

Our watches are made of different kinds of wood (sandalwood, walnut, olive, leadwood, etc) which have different physical characteristics and are the reason for the different shades and looks of our different models.

Are the wooden watches waterproof?

Our watches are splash proof, meaning that they can get wet from time to time without damage. This may include contact while washing your hands, sweat, and rain.

But in order to prolong the useful life of your watch, please take care NOT to expose it to water as much as possible. Exposure to water weaken the integrity of the wood over long periods of time, so we encourage that you remove your watch while doing any water based activity. It is also not recommended that you douse or submerge the watches in water. When this happens, make sure to let the wood dry to remove excess moisture.

How do I clean my wooden watch?

Although not required, you may want to clean your watch every now and then if you notice it looking dull or dirty. DO NOT clean your wooden watch by soaking it in water or using alcohol.

The best way to clean your wooden watch is to combine a mixture of one part olive oil and one part lemon juice to act as a wood polish. Use a q-tip or a cottonbud to dip into the mixture and gently clean and polish the exterior of your Narra Wooden Watch.

How big is the watch? What if it's too loose or too tight for my wrist?

Our watches come in standard length of around 20cm or 8in. You can measure your wrist using a tape measure to check.

A standard Filipino will have a wrist size much smaller than this, but for those with larger builds and are worried that the watches might be too small, can indicate on the notes upon checkout to include extra links.

We can also pre-adjust your watches to fit your wrist. Just indicate your wrist size in the notes before checkout.

I received a watch but it's not working!

We quality check our watches before sending them out. If your watch is not working or moving, please make sure that the crown on the right is pushed in, and any plastic watch stopper on the crown is removed. Then, give the watch a light shake.

If your brand new watch is still not working after the crown is pushed in, you may send us a message or an email. This could be due to a dead battery, or a factory defect.

Are your watches battery operated or automatic?

As of now, all of our watches run on quartz movements and are battery operated. We might release automatic watches some time in the future.

Does the watch come in a case?

Our watches come in a round bamboo packaging. Unfortunately we do not provide any paper bags for watch orders.

Do you do engravings?

Yes, we now provide engraving requests for orders. Just select the watch with engraving option when you check out. Engravings will be done on the back of the watches only.

Requirements for engraving requests:

1. No COD payment method

2. Engraving length will be a maximum of 20 characters. The less the better.

3. For Apollo and Eclipse watches, since these consist of stainless steel watch case, they will only be permanently marked, but not engraved.

4. You may include your engraving request content on the notes to checkout.

What payment options do you accept?

We accept the following payment methods:

1. COD

2. Credit card (Visa, Mastercard) via Paypal or Paymongo

3. GCash transfer payments (you may select Secure Payments by Paymongo, or Bank Deposit options upon checkout)

4. Bank deposit via BDO and BPI. Once an order is placed, bank details and payment instructions will be sent through the confirmation email

Our watches are available in the following physical locations:

I'm from abroad. Do you ship internationallly?

As of now, we do not ship internationally on our website. However, our partner merchant Frankie's General Store, does. You may place an order for international shipping on their website.

Likewise, any questions about international shipping fees and lead times, may be directed to their team.

I'm interested. How do I place an order?

Orders may only be placed through our online store at Just look for the product you would like to buy, click add to cart, checkout, input your shipping details, and receive your order in a few days!

Do you do rush orders?

We can serve rush orders provided that rush orders are first communicated to us via our Instagram page or email to confirm your rush order.

Rush orders may be delivered via express delivery apps like Grab and Lalamove, but the customer needs to shoulder the shipping fee, and the address must be servicable from a Metro Manila pickup point.

We strongly recommend NOT to use COD as payment method for rush orders.

Do you do custom engravings?

Unfortunately as of now we are unable to provide custom engraving services for non-bulk orders. For bulk order requests, please send us an email at or message us on our Instagram page.

Can I exchange my item?

If you would for any reason like to exchange your item, you can send us a message. We can accept returns in good condition provided buyer shoulders return shipping of the watch they bought, and the shipping fee of the replacement.
